Spain, a country on Europe’s Iberian Peninsula, includes 17 autonomous regions with diverse geography and cultures.
Most people choose to visit the country because of its charming artsy atmosphere. Rich in UNESCO World Heritage Sites, it hosts the World’s Biggest Food Fight, the birthplace of Flamenco, home to the World’s Oldest Restaurant, the country has so much to offer. Capital city Madrid is home to the Royal Palace and Prado Museum, housing works by European masters. Segovia has a medieval castle (the Alcázar) and an intact Roman aqueduct. Catalonia’s capital, Barcelona, is where the Sagrada Família church is located – the most visited attraction in the country.
